Nespresso Greece Warns Customers After Cyberattack on Logistics Partner

Nespresso Greece has alerted its customers about a possible data breach following a cyberattack on one of its partners. The incident happened in February 2025 and targeted Orphee Beinoglou International Transportation, a company that handles logistics for Nespresso.

A Russian-speaking hacking group called Clop has claimed responsibility for the attack. The stolen data may include customers’ names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and tax numbers for those who received invoices. However, no financial information was stolen, according to Orphee Beinoglou.

Nespresso is urging customers to be extra cautious. They advise against clicking on unknown links or opening attachments from suspicious emails. Customers are also warned not to share personal or financial information with strangers and to keep their devices protected with up-to-date security software.

The breach has been reported to Greece’s Personal Data Protection Authority and the National Cybersecurity Authority. Orphee Beinoglou said they have taken steps to improve their security and have informed all their partners.

The Clop ransomware group has been active since 2019 and became widely known in 2023 for attacking several U.S. federal agencies. That year alone, they were linked to 384 data breaches.

Interestingly, Adidas Greece customers also received similar warnings recently, suggesting a wider impact of the cyberattack.

Customers are encouraged to stay alert and follow safety guidelines to protect their information.
