Baltimore Doctor Arrested in Louisville on Child Pornography Charges


A Baltimore doctor who worked at UofL Health has been arrested in downtown Louisville on multiple child pornography charges.

According to court documents, 35-year-old Bradford Lee Marsili was found in possession of 68 images and videos showing sexual performances by minors. The materials were reportedly collected between June 22, 2024, and January 1, 2025.

The investigation began after authorities received a cyber tip. Ten of the images were allegedly shared on social media, investigators said.

Marsili is facing 20 charges of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and 10 charges of distribution of obscene matter.

He appeared in court on Saturday and pleaded not guilty. The judge set his cash bond at $75,000. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 19.

Following the arrest, the University of Louisville placed Marsili on leave. University spokesperson John Karman stated that the institution is fully cooperating with law enforcement.

The case remains under investigation.
